Put WordPress into another language

Want to use WordPress in a different language? It's simple! WordPress lets you pick from many languages so that you can work in the one that's most comfortable for you. Here's how you can change the language:

Step 1: Go to Your WordPress Dashboard

Log in to your WordPress site, and go to your dashboard.

Step 2: Find the Settings Option

From the dashboard, look for the Settings option in the left-hand menu. Then click on General.

Step 3: Choose a Language

Scroll down to the Site Language dropdown menu. Here, you'll see a list of all the available languages. Pick the one you want to use.

Step 4: Save Your Changes

After you've chosen the language, don't forget to click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.

And You're Done!

That's it! Your WordPress site is now in the language you picked. Everything in the dashboard and all the settings will show up in that language.

Need the Language Files?

If the language you want isn't in the list, you might need to install the language files. You can do this by:

  1. Downloading the Language Files: Find the files for your language on the WordPress website.
  2. Upload the Files: Put them in the /wp-content/languages/ folder of your WordPress site.
  3. Choose the Language Again: Go back to Settings > General and pick the language from the Site Language dropdown menu.
  4. Save Changes: Just like before, click the Save Changes button.
