Video Sales

Video Sales lets you upload and sell videos directly through your Sunshine Photo Cart galleries. Videos appear alongside your photos as regular gallery items, play inline with an HTML5 video player, and are delivered as digital downloads when purchased. Your existing gallery workflow stays the same — just drag and drop video files during upload.

Seamless Gallery Integration

Upload videos to any gallery the same way you upload photos. The addon automatically extracts a thumbnail frame in the browser and uses it as the gallery image, so videos appear naturally in your image grid with a play button overlay. Clicking through to a video displays a full HTML5 player with playback controls.

Preview Videos

Upload a separate preview clip for each video — a shorter, watermarked, or lower-resolution version that plays for visitors browsing your gallery. The original full-quality video is only delivered after purchase. If no preview is provided, the original video plays in the gallery.

Dedicated Video Products

The addon creates a "Video Download" product on activation that's automatically assigned to video items. Video products are kept completely separate from your photo products — customers see video pricing when viewing a video and photo pricing when viewing a photo. No manual product assignment needed.

Digital Download Fulfillment

When a customer purchases a video, the download system automatically delivers the original video file instead of the thumbnail image. Works with the Digital Downloads addon and Cloud Storage — videos stored in the cloud are served directly from your storage provider.

Lightbox Support

If you use the Lightbox addon, videos play directly within the lightbox overlay. Customers can browse through a gallery and watch videos inline without leaving the lightbox view.

Cloud Storage Compatible

Videos and preview clips are automatically offloaded to your cloud storage provider when the Cloud Storage addon is active. All linked files — main video, preview, and thumbnail — are cleaned up from both local storage and the cloud when deleted.

Admin Management

Each gallery image shows a video icon indicator so you can quickly identify which items have videos attached. The attachment edit screen lets you upload or replace the main video, add or remove a preview clip, and upload a custom thumbnail. Video metadata like duration and resolution is displayed in the admin.
