Gallery Analytics
The Advanced Reporting addon adds an Analytics tab to each gallery's edit screen. It shows you how many people viewed the gallery, who they were, what they ordered, and which images got the most attention.
Quick Stats on the Gallery List
When you go to Sunshine > Galleries, you'll see a Views column in the gallery list table. This gives you a quick glance at how many times each gallery has been viewed without needing to open each one.
Gallery Analytics Tab
To see detailed analytics for a specific gallery:
- Go to Sunshine > Galleries and click on a gallery to edit it
- Click the Analytics tab
At the top you'll see summary stats:
- Views — total number of times the gallery was viewed
- Orders — number of orders placed from this gallery
- Child Gallery Orders — orders from sub-galleries (only shown if the gallery has child galleries)
- Free Downloads — number of free gallery downloads (only shown if free downloads are enabled)
Detailed Analytics
Below the summary stats, you'll find several tabs with more detailed data. These load on demand when you click them, so the page stays fast even for galleries with a lot of activity.
Customer Views
A table showing each customer who viewed the gallery, along with the date of their visit. Customer names link to their full customer profile.
Orders
A list of all orders placed from this gallery, with links to each order for quick access.
Free Downloads
Shows the top 50 free downloads from the gallery, if free downloads are enabled.
Most Viewed Images
The top 50 most-viewed images in the gallery, displayed with thumbnails and view counts. This helps you see which photos are getting the most attention from your clients.
Child Gallery Orders
If the gallery has sub-galleries, this tab shows orders placed from any of those child galleries. This is useful for parent galleries that organize a session or event into multiple sub-galleries.
Notes
- The analytics tab loads detailed data via AJAX when you click it. If you have a gallery with a lot of activity, there may be a brief loading delay.
- View counts reflect unique views per customer session, not total page loads.
