What is a Platform Fee?

With Sunshine Photo Cart, the growth of your photography business is a priority. This is why there is a fully functional, free version of our plugin which integrates with PayPal, Stripe, and Square, giving you the flexibility to accept payments from a wider customer base for your client galleries.

However, the free version includes an additional 5% Platform Fee for Stripe and Square which goes to Sunshine Photo Cart. This fee, only applied when you receive orders, supports the maintenance, security, and enhancement of the plugin but is tied directly to your success using it.

However, we understand that every penny counts. We offer PayPal payments without any added Platform Fee. Please note that transaction fees set by PayPal, Stripe, or Square are still applicable.

To eliminate the Platform Fee, you can either upgrade to individual add-ons for Stripe and Square respectively or select one of our Plus or Pro plans. These options leave you with just the transaction fees, keeping costs low as you scale up.
