At long last we are finally ready to invite you to participate in the beta testing of Sunshine Photo Cart! If you want to participate, simply read the info below then subscribe at the bottom of this post.

What do I get for being a beta tester?

We are offering a lifetime license for Sunshine. But! Only those testers that actually participate and provide feedback will be awarded the lifetime license.

What does beta testing involve?

Beta testing involves downloading, installing and generally messing with Sunshine and seeing if it breaks. If you find something broken, you report it in as much detail as possible. If you feel something has been done awkwardly, let us know. Screencasts of you breaking it are ideal, screenshots are great, 4 paragraph descriptions are very helpful. "It doesn't work" doesn't do anything for us whatsoever.

We also ask that you read through what other beta testers have posted and provide comments or additional feedback if it makes sense to do so. We'd like to have some healthy discussion from other photographers to make sure Sunshine is doing what photographers really need and want.

Last, verify other testers' bugs. If you see another beta tester post that they found a bug it is helpful to us if you try to recreate the same scenario on your installation and then report if you saw the same bug or if it worked for you.

How do I provide feedback?

We will be setting up a special Beta Testers area in our forums. All your messages should be posted there instead of direct email to us so all testers have a chance to chime in on topics.

Should I use this with real clients?

That is up to you as there could be bugs that cause issues with your clients. We have used it with real clients making real purchases successfully but that is only in our own environment (on our web host with our few client testers) and we can't guarantee it will work for you - that is why we are asking for testers.

What do I need to test it out?

Sunshine Photo Cart is built as a WordPress plugin - so you need WordPress installed somewhere. Installing Sunshine is extremely easy, usually less than 30 seconds, if you already have WordPress installed. Once it is setup, you spend a little time to create galleries and see how it all works.

How long do I have to test?

We are aiming for a final release of Sunshine in about a month from now. So we need to get people to test it out, provide feedback and then have time to resolve any issues that are found.

Become a beta tester

Thank you for your interest but we have filled all our beta tester spots. Look for our launch very soon!
