How to set quantity discounts

Entice customers to spend more by offering a per-item discount the more they add to cart.

• First, create any kind of product you would like
• When editing the product, find the Quantity Discount section in the General tab.
• Click the "Add" button to define a new discount threshold.
• Enter a minimum quantity the customer must reach
• Enter the discount (not the new price) for each item to be applied

The quantity threshold by default counts the number of this product across the entire cart. If you want the discounts to only be calculated per line item (or per image), then check the option "Calculate quantities per line item".

Example

This example shows how to configure quantity discounts so customers pay less per photo as they buy more.

Target pricing:

• 1 photo → €9
• 3 photos → €15
• 5 photos → €18
• 10 photos → €24
• 15 photos → €29
• 20 photos → €34

Step 1: Set the base price

Set the product price to €9.

Step 2: Add quantity discount tiers

Edit the product and add the following Quantity Discount rows:

Minimum quantity: 3

Discount per item: €4.00

Minimum quantity: 5

Discount per item: €5.40

Minimum quantity: 10

Discount per item: €6.60

Minimum quantity: 15

Discount per item: €7.07

Minimum quantity: 20

Discount per item: €7.30

Step 3: Save the product

Once saved, Sunshine Photo Cart will automatically apply the correct discount so the total price matches the target amounts listed above.
