Local delivery shipping method

Local Delivery is for photographers who personally deliver prints to clients nearby. It works like Flat Rate, with one extra capability: you can restrict it to specific zip or postal codes so only customers in your delivery area see it at checkout.

How to Add Local Delivery

1. In your WordPress admin, go to Sunshine > Settings > Delivery & Shipping
2. From the shipping method dropdown, select Local Delivery
3. Click Add shipping method
4. Click Configure on the new row and fill in the fields

You can add Local Delivery more than once if you want to offer different delivery tiers (for example, one price for your immediate neighborhood and another for the surrounding county).

Configuration Fields

• Name — How the option appears at checkout, for example "Local Hand Delivery"
• Description — A short line shown next to the name
• Price — The delivery fee, or 0 if you offer it free
• Taxable — Whether tax is calculated on the delivery price
• Allowed Zip/Postal Codes — Comma-separated list of codes where this option is available. Leave empty to allow any code.

More Control with Advanced Shipping

The Advanced Shipping add-on layers extra conditional rules on top of the zip/postal code restriction:

• Minimum or maximum order amount before local delivery shows
• Limit to specific galleries or product categories
• Restrict to specific countries or states
• Charge per cart, per line item, or per image
