Flat rate shipping method

Flat Rate is the simplest shipping method in Sunshine Photo Cart. You set one price and it applies to any order, regardless of size, weight, or quantity. It's the right choice when shipping costs are predictable for the items you sell.

How to Add Flat Rate Shipping

1. In your WordPress admin, go to Sunshine > Settings > Delivery & Shipping
2. From the shipping method dropdown, select Flat Rate
3. Click Add shipping method
4. Click Configure on the new row and fill in the fields

You can add Flat Rate more than once if you want to offer multiple shipping speeds (for example, "Standard Shipping" at one price and "Express Shipping" at another).

Configuration Fields

• Name — How the option appears at checkout, for example "Standard Shipping"
• Description — A short line shown next to the name
• Price — The single price charged for any order using this method
• Taxable — Whether tax is calculated on the shipping price

Per-Product Extra Shipping

If specific products in your store cost more to ship (canvases, framed prints, large albums), you can add an extra shipping fee per product so flat rate scales to those items. See Extra shipping fees for large or heavy items.

More Control with Advanced Shipping

The Advanced Shipping add-on unlocks per-method rules that the base plugin doesn't have:

• Show flat rate only above or below a certain order amount (great for tiered shipping)
• Limit it to specific galleries or product categories
• Restrict it to specific countries or states
• Charge per cart, per line item, or per image
