Updating add-on resulted in "Download Failed: Unauthorized"

Some users have experienced an error notice when trying to update an add-on that says "Download failed. Unauthorized". If you experience this issue, here are some things to try:

Retry

Often times it is a temporary issue with the connection from your website server to sunshinephotocart.com to retrieve the update information and files.

Confirm License Key

  • Go to Sunshine > Settings > Licenses. Ensure that your license key is entered and activated/valid for the add-on you are attempting to update.
  • Try deactivating the add-on, reactivating, then updating again
  • Check that your subscription/license is still active

If still not working, there are some servers that for some reason prevent a connection to our website at www.sunshinephotocart.com. To manually update the plugin, download from your Account area, deactivate and remove the add-on plugin, then upload the new version of the add-on plugin. You will not lose any data in this process.
